    Happy New Year. Hopefully you have recovered from all of the good times and/or you got some rest on the break. I figured many of us have SharePoint 2010 deployments at this point that are mature. Which is awesome. But one thing I know about mature SharePoint farms is we often take them for granted. Below I am going to throw a couple of things at you to double check this week and make sure SharePoint is happy. What is your build number? You should be running at least service pack 1 at this point. Now if you are not I am not recommending blindly installing it on your production server. You should test it first. J But once you do let's get it on there. How do you check your build number? Todd has a great blog post here that will show you how to find your build number and then tell you what it means.
